Below are some DCO Green manufacturing processes being practiced at our manufacturing plants: We deal with approximately 300 Raw Material suppliers where a large component of our materials purchased are recycled vs. raw. Examples include recycled steel, aluminum coils and sheets, aluminum castings, corrugated, and extruded acrylic sheets. The scrap material from our operation is recycled also: 1. Steel and aluminum 2. Cardboard and paper 3. Damaged pallets are repaired 4. Waste oil 5. All our Metal Halide and fluorescent bulbs that are captured for reuse. Our facility is listed as a Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator of Hazardous Waste due to the low volumes of waste generated from our operations. Our facility is also categorized as a minor source for air pollutants and no Title V Air Permit is required due to our low discharge volumes of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP). TVA and MS Valley Gas assist us with more fuel efficient equipment purchase decisions.
